Let’s change #necknominations to …

🕔 February 19, 2014

Heard of #necknominations? It’s a drinking craze that started online and went viral. The thing with neck nominations is, that you neck a drink and then nominate your friends to do the same. According to media, six weeks on, five deaths have been linked to necknominate :(

So… I was thinking. Why don’t we change the trend, and do something positive? Let’s try, for example, to #helpnominate! If the drinking game worked, this should, too. If you decide to participate, that is.

How to participate and #helpnominate

1. Help someone on confidly
2. Post a screenshot of it on your Twitter, Facebook … (optional)
3. Nominate 3 friends: “I #helpnominate @FRIEND1 @FRIEND2 to help someone with #confidly app! Help & nominate 3 friends.”
4. Explain further, if you can: Link to http://confidly.com/helpnominate/

New around here?

Confidly is an app where you can anonymously post your worries. Our community members then reply to you and try to help you out. This time, we are inviting YOU to HELP someone in need. Download confidly, and try to make a difference.
✓ GOOGLE PLAY > http://confid.ly/ANDROID
✓ APP STORE > http://confid.ly/IOS

Let’s see if we could do a small change in the social environment around the world. I’m a little doubtful, but we’ll never know if we don’t try, right?

Let the #helpnominate begin!

Sadly, these are not all worries posted to confidly on Valentine’s. There were many more :(

Next year, let’s not forget to share the love with people who are single and alone, not just with the one(s) you love. Promise?

A little something for you

🕔 January 8, 2014

I was thinking today … How to thank you all for being here and helping out.

And here it is, a simple thing that I could do, and I hope it’s worth anything to you – I decided to start collecting and publishing your best quotes from the app.

We’ll collect the quotes at our Facebook page and our Twitter page, so join us there and click Follow/Like.

P.S: We’re still serious about our commitment to help 100.000 people in 2014. Please read our recent blog, and see if you can help us achieve that?

Stay happy and share love <3

All we want for Christmas …

🕔 December 24, 2013

… is to help 100.000+ people in 2014.
Sounds crazy? Not really.

We launched confidly in June on the App Store, and in November on Google Play. Since then, more than 5,500 people downloaded the app and they posted 4,600+ worries. Our community replied with 23,000+ helpful opinions – isn’t that amazing?

However – what we really want to achieve is to help more people. If we’ve helped 4,000+ in 6 months, we can surely help 100,000 in a year, if this app grows! Please help us achieve this by posting about confidly on your website. It would bring us one step closer to making this world a better place.

To help you out, I prepared a full Press Kit, where you can download & use everything you need for your article.

I am truly grateful that you read this letter and I wish you all best in 2014.

Stay happy and share love <3

Not everyone is lucky to have a helping friend or a caring family. Even if you are one of the lucky ones, we all sometimes have questions we are either afraid or ashamed to ask.

You can use confidly:

+ To share your secrets and meet people with similar stories
+ When worries are causing you tension, lack of sleep or headaches.
+ When you feel lonely or you need a friend to chat
+ When you want to help people or get help
+ As a self-help tool for anxiety or self-esteem issues
+ To reduce panic and stress when you feel you cannot talk to anyone

We’re the winners of TSStartup!

🕔 June 17, 2013

It was April 2013 when we were accepted to TSStartup, a Slovenian startup accelerator. It’s a programme that enables  participants to develop, gain knowledge and implement innovative business services. And whoa, was this an intense experience!

TSStartup was our Home, and it’s where confidly was born :)

Our Mentors

We are truly grateful to our mentors, who guided us through intense weeks of TSstartup. Special thanks to Aleš Špetič, Aleš Smokvina, Alja Isaković, Jan Isaković, Andraž Tori, Dušan Omerčević, Marko Mrđenović, Jugoslav Petković and Darko Butina.

We started from scratch, and had to compete against 10 other teams. The competition was sharp, but at the end we managed to win, and secure a 20.000 € investment. Yay!

TSStartup was truly the best-ever startup experience, so we are sending out our support for the next generation.
